The Before School Program opens at 6:45 a.m. and remains open until the children enter their classrooms at 8:15 a.m. For the safety of our children, all children who arrive before 8:15 a.m. MUST be placed in the Before School Program. Students are not allowed to be on school property unsupervised. Parents must sign all children into the program; for safety please accompany your children into the building. The entrance to the Before School Program is located at the parking lot in the back of the school.

Note: During the winter months, if school has a delayed opening, the Before School Program will open at 8:15 a.m. This allows time for the driveway to be plowed and for walkways to be made safe for our families.

The After School Program opens at 2:45 p.m. and closes promptly at 5:45 p.m. Children utilizing the program will be released directly to the staff at dismissal. All participants should bring an extra snack and drink for after school and may bring a change of clothes if desired. Supervised homework time is provided, outdoor playtime (or open gym) encourages active play, and supervised access to the Media Center is also available for educational computer time. Upon arrival, parents must enter the school at the entrance located at the parking lot in the back of the building. Parents should then proceed to the After School room to sign out their children.

Note: During the winter months, if school has an early release due to inclement weather, the After School Program will close at 2:45 p.m. This is for the safety of our parents, students, and program staff. On a scheduled early release day, the program will open at dismissal (usually 12:45 p.m.) and will remain open until 6:00 p.m. Any changes to this schedule will be communicated to participants by the staff.

Please note that these programs are available only on days that school is in session. On snow days or school vacations, the Before & After School Program is closed.

To register for either/both of these programs, an application and emergency form/release card must be completed. These items can be found on our Forms & Documents page, under the Administration/General. The cost for the program is $7.00 per hour for one child and $3.00 for each additional child in the family.
