Spelling: around, about, gown, sound, flower, howl, ground, pound, crown, south, mouse, downtown, mountain, boundary, drowsy (theme: vowel dipthongs ou/ow)
Math: we have started fractions! We are working on writing, drawing, and identifying fractions.
Reading: we are going to work on a nonfiction story called "Frogs". Then we will be writing an informational writing about what we have learned about frogs based on the story and additonal books I have. We will also be focusing on suffixes.
Science: still working in Earth science (learning about recycling, natural resourses, and types of rocks). Their recycling projects are coming out awesome!
Monday - reading log, spelling sentences (use the first 7 words and write a sentence for them, underline the spelling word)
Tuesday - reading log, spelling sentences (use remaining 8 words in a sentence and underline the spelling word)
Wednesday - reading log, Moby Max, study spelling
Thursday - reading log, Moby Max, study spelling
