We have wonderful weeks full of a great deal of learning in the fourth grade imagineering workshop. I am also happy to say that we are filling our Mickey hand with many splashes of color and can’t wait to see what the surprise is when it is all filled!
This week the fourth and fifth grade students will begin completing their weekly Moby Max practice. They must complete a MINIMUM of 50 minutes. The students have received the directions and must return the signed part ASAP. This will count as a weekly homework grade.
Conference times went home on Tuesday, October 10. I look forward to meeting with you during your designated day and time. Please note these conferences are not for the students to attend. If for some reason you are unable to attend your conference time, please contact me ASAP so we can try to reschedule your time.
Reading- In the next couple of weeks we will finish up with Because of Winn Dixie and begin working on Lewis and Clark and Me.
Math- We will continue practicing division facts and interpreting graphs.
Spelling- There will be a spelling test on Friday, October 20.

On Friday, October 27, the students will have a Unit 1 test on the challenge words from the first five spelling lists. The test will have the students circle the correctly spelled challenge word.

Science- We will begin our unit on plants as a follow up to our wonderful pumpkin farm field trip.
Religion- In religion we will discuss Sacred Scripture and how the Bible is arranged. The students will practice looking up scripture passages. We will also read and discuss Sunday’s Gospel.
