I can’t believe that next week is Thanksgiving. We have bene very busy in our Imagineering Workshop continuing to learn a great deal every day. Since next week is a short week I am just going to outline this week and next week together as many topics will continue into next week.
Thank you for returning all the permission slips for our trip to the Knights of Columbus Museum. The students are looking forward to decorating their tree with all of their beautiful ornaments. The students will need to bring a bagged lunch and wear their regular school uniform.
Math- We are currently working on fractions this includes finding equivalent fractions and reducing fractions to simplest form. It is a great way to continuously practice our division facts. Just a reminder that each week the students are required to complete a MINIMUM OF 50 MINUTES ON MOBY MAX MATH OR FACT FLUENCY. The students have been noticing how much easier math is when they have this constant review to keep their skills sharp.
Spelling- There will be a spelling test this Friday, November 17.

THERE IS NO SPELLING TEST THE WEEK OF NOVEMBER 20.
Language Arts- We will be reading and analyzing different pieces of Thanksgiving literature to identify the author’s purpose.
Science- Grades four and five are exploring the world of nutrition through the use of technology (classroom tablets) and interactive activities.
Religion- During the next two weeks we will identify the leaders of the Church- pope, bishops, priests, and deacons. We will also read and discuss the Sunday Gospels.
