10 hours of service are required.  Please complete the attached form for each service completed.  Some examples of service opportunities are listed below.

School

·       Read at school Mass

·       Sing in school choir (you may only use 5 hours for this)

·       Altar serve at school Mass, family Mass or in your parish (you may only use 5 hours for this)

·       Participate in the Living Stations during Lent (2 hours given for participation)

·       Work at the concession stand during Friday night bingo or at SBS basketball games

·       Work at the uniform exchange

·       Help serve at the Santa Breakfast in December

·       Mentor a first grader

Church

·       Read at Mass in your parish 

·       Altar serve at Mass in your parish (you may only use 5 hours for this)

·       Help with the offertory collection

·       Contact your parish office and offer to stuff bulletins, help with planting, weeding, or cleaning

·       Help assemble Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter food baskets for the St. Vincent de Paul Society

·       Help out at the Easter children's party at the Mount Carmel Society

·       Attend Stations of the Cross on a Friday during Lent (I hour)

Community

·       Work at Enfield Food Shelf or Loaves & Fishes

·       Volunteer at St. Joseph Residence

·       Help maintain the Community Garden at the Enfield Senior Center

·       Help out at the Adult Day Center visiting the elderly, entertaining them, or help out with arts & crafts or lunch service

·       Help out at the Adult Day Center weekend noontime meal, setting tables, clearing, or doing dishes
