7th Grade Life Science
Students will begin Chapter 15 Bones, Muscles, and Skin. We will focus on body organization and homeostasis, the skeletal and muscular system, and the skin.
KEY TERMS: cell, cell membrane, muscle tissue, nerve tissue, connective tissue, organ, homeostasis, stress, vertebra, marrow, cartilage, joint, ligament, osteoporosis, tendon, epidermis, melanin, dermis, pore, follicle, cancer, and acne.
8th Grade Earth Science
Students will begin Chapter 15 The Atmosphere. Students will focus on the air around them, air quality, air pressure, and the layers of the atmosphere.
KEY TERMS: Weather, atmosphere, ozone, water vapor, pollutant, photochemical smog, temperature inversion, acid rain, density, pressure, barometer, altitude, troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere, thermosphere, ionosphere, exosphere.
7th Grade Pre Algebra
Students will begin working on Chapter 5: Operations With Fractions. Students will learn and apply concepts from the following lessons:
