Notes:

Thursday, March 1st is the last day Six Flags reading logs can be turned in.  They must be logged in prior to 5pm.  Six Flags does not may exceptions for late logs.  Please send them with your child in the morning.

 

Friday, March 2nd will will attend first Friday  mass. Mass is currently planned for 1:15pm. Please join us if you are able.

Reading:   This week we are reading the story "Where are my animal Friends?"  The vocabulary words are does,     good-bye, before, won't,  oh, right, spring, warm, goose, racoon, bear, hummingbird, squirrel, ground, until, edge. The skills are  sequencing, comparative endings (er, est), dge /j/, and prior knowledge.

Please encourage your children to read. Books on the student's reading level can be taken out of your public library and enjoyed at no cost while providing practice and knowledge on many different topics. Children learn so much through reading.

 

Math; We will continue to work on math facts this week.  Please practice  facts as they need to be memorized.

 

Homework

Please do Lexia as part of this week's homework. Please plan for at least two 25 minute sessions.

Monday:  Read decodable book # 35 "The Big Race."  Write spelling words three times each and draw a picture.

Tuesday:  Read decodable book # 36  "Where is my Badge?'

Wednesday:  Math worksheet

Thursday:  Study for Friday's spelling test.
