Thank you to all the parents who chaperoned our school field trip to the Big E. Your time and assistance was greatly appreciated and helped to make our educational field trip a success.
Please check with your child for a field trip permission slip to Silver Bell Farms in Monson, MA. The third and fourth grade classes will be going on a fall field trip on Wednesday, October 11. The cost is $20 per student and $10 per chaperone. All forms and money are due by Thursday, October 5. If a student is not attending the field trip I must receive a note by Thursday, October 5. Any student who is not attending the field trip is to stay home and will be marked absent.
Here is what we will be learning in fourth grade this week.
Math- The students are continuing to work on a geometry fall shape project with the fifth grade class. Also, the fourth grade will begin mastering their basic division facts.
Spelling- There is a spelling test on Friday, September 29.

Language Arts- The students are working on the story components by completing their Freckle Juice book report.
Science- The students have worked on a problem solving activity and will analyze the data that was gathered throughout the paper chain activity.
Religion- We will locate feasts of the church on the liturgical calendar. We will also read and discuss the Gospel for this Sunday.
