Happy New Year! I hope that you and your family had a nice Christmas break. I cannot believe that it is already 2018. May 2018 be a year of health, happiness, and blessings for you and your family. Today the class has worked on getting back in the routine of the school day and reviewing our four classroom rules to lead to a successful 2018.
~ We respect each other.
~ Always let your conscience be your guide.
~ I late for a very important date. Be on time!
~ We work to infinity and beyond.
With this being said we have also discussed that we are going to work very hard on writing NEATLY in cursive and erasable pen. Please make sure that the students have erasable pens at home to do their homework as well as in school at all times. I have found that pens go missing when they are trying to remember to bring them back and forth.
Also, just a reminder that MobyMax is a weekly math grade. The students did have a break from it last week, but it is REQUIRED again this week and is due each week on Sunday night.
This week we will be focusing on New Year’s and winter across many of the areas of the curriculum. The students will work on their creative writing and problem solving skills. In religion, we will discuss the feast of the Epiphany and the visit from the three kings. There will be a spelling test on Friday, January 5.
