The fourth and fifth grade have been working very hard to turn our hallways into Neverland and the world of Peter Pan. We hope to share our creative projects and more with you at the curriculum fair tonight (4/24) from 6:30-8:00pm.
There is NO spelling test this week!
Also, this week we begin taking IOWA tests. With this being said there are a couple of test preparation reminders that I like to remind everyone.
- Make sure to get enough sleep! There will not be additional homework assigned besides unfinished work and Moby Max during assigned weeks.
- Eat a nutritious breakfast. Iowa testing begins early in the morning so testing occurs before the students have snack, and then again after snack.
- Arrive at school promptly. They say that the best testing occurs in the morning as this is when students are most well rested and able to focus therefore being on time is important so that testing can begin. If a student arrives after testing is underway, the student will have to stay in the office until a break in the testing occurs as to not interrupt the class.
Thank you for your cooperation and assistance to make this a smooth few weeks of testing. The testing is split up over many days to allow students to perform their best and not get exhausted from extended testing periods on one day.
Have a wonderful week!
