I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving break. We have an exciting week this week in grade ¾. On Thursday, November 29th we will be going on our field trip to the Knights of Columbus to decorate our Christmas tree. A few reminders about the field trip.
- All students must be in their regular school uniform.
- They must bring a PEANUT/ TREE NUT FREE bagged lunch.
- The students do not need to bring their backpack to school.
We can’t wait to see what our tree looks like all decorated.
Here is what else we will be working on in the wonderful world of Oz.
Math- The fourth graders are working on mastering 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. The third graders are going to work on mastering their 8’s times tables. Please make sure that they are reviewing all basic multiplication facts as they all build on one another. The students are back to doing MobyMax this week!
Spelling- There will be a spelling test on Friday, November 30.

Religion- This week we will discuss the liturgical calendar and how Advent will begin this Sunday.
Social Studies- We are going to begin discussing the United States of America and the regions that it is divided into.
Science- This week we are going to begin studying matter.
Language Arts- The students will be taking a closer look at reading comprehension using the Yellow Brick Road of retelling as we begin reading some childhood Christmas story favorites.
