  • "Being a student at St. Bernard School has had a great impact on my life because it allowed me to grow both socially and intellectually. I learned how to interact with my peers by the great example the faculty and staff at St. Bernard demonstrated. I remember it being a very open and welcoming environment, and all of the teachers were very friendly and truly there for the students. Going to St. Bernard School has taught me that hard work and dedication is rewarded. My teachers at St. Bernard always made it clear that trying my best would result in academic success. By giving my best effort on all my assignments, I realized that my hard work was reflected in my grades. One of the best skills that I have taken from my experience at St. Bernard is time management. When I started high school as a freshman, I used the time management skills I acquired from St. Bernard School and I was able to balance the time I spent on homework and on other activities. Making a very swift transition from St. Bernard to Northwest Catholic High School, I was able to manage the workload of a high school student from the very beginning. I do believe that my easy transition into high school was made possible by the time management skills that St. Bernard gave me. I strongly believe that my academic success and personal achievement I have experienced comes from the experiences I had at St. Bernard School."
