6th Grade Trip to the Ecuadorian Consulate

The Consulate of Ecuador has a base in New Haven, CT. Our 6th grade class enjoyed visiting the office and meeting with the Consulate Director General, Mr. Raul Erasu. Everyone was so helpful and we all learned so much about beautiful Ecuador, its natural resources, rainforests, and mountains too. The Galapagos Islands are a natural wonder in themselves. Pictures coming soon!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven after a visit from the St. Bernard School fourth graders. On Tuesday, December 2, the fourth graders traveled to the museum to participate in the Christmas Tree Festival. They spent the day viewing the Creches from Italy exhibit, completing arts and crafts, and turning an ordinary green Christmas tree into a sparkling masterpiece. The beautiful tree is on display at the museum until February 1, 2015. Click on the picture to view the side show.

Advent Wreath Making

This past weekend St. Bernard School and Parish families came together to make their very own Advent Wreaths. The wreaths were then blessed by Fr. Melnick at the vigil Mass. Thank you to the Liturgy Committee for organizing this family event and helping us to prepare for the Advent Season. Click on the picture to see all four!

A Faith Based Community

Saint Bernard Catholic School and Little Angels Catholic Pre-school are faith based communities where we provide a quality Catholic education as we reflect, celebrate and share the message of Christ. We create a warm, nurturing, respectful, spiritual and academic environment where children learn and develop. We prepare young people to live and learn in a Christ-like manner and to become leaders in a technological and contemporary society.
