7th Grade Mass

October is the month of the Rosary. At First Friday Mass the 7th graders presented the Rosary of Intentions on the altar. The rosary is hand made by our 7th graders and each student in the school was asked to write a prayer intention on the beads of the rosary. Parishioners of St. Bernard Church also had an opportunity to write their intentions on the hand-made rosary. Throughout the month of October the intentions will be prayed for during our daily prayers.

Fire Truck Ride to School

Recently, Jared Ryan one of our third graders enjoyed a fun and educational ride to school on a Fire Truck. Jared won the Fire Truck ride to school from a contest he was entered into at the Enfield Public Library this past summer. Jared has a passion for reading and each summer the Enfield Public Library sponsors fun ways to encourage young people to read. Students earned points for each type of book they read with the highest point value being 500. Jared was one of the young readers who accomplished his goal of reading books to gain the 500 points. Any reader who obtained a score of 500 was entered into a drawing to win the Fire Truck ride to school. Jared enjoyed his ride to school and even shared his prize with his sister Anna. Jared was greeted by his third grade classmates as the sirens blared as he arrived to SBS!

A Faith Based Community

Saint Bernard Catholic School and Little Angels Catholic Pre-school are faith based communities where we provide a quality Catholic education as we reflect, celebrate and share the message of Christ. We create a warm, nurturing, respectful, spiritual and academic environment where children learn and develop. We prepare young people to live and learn in a Christ-like manner and to become leaders in a technological and contemporary society.
