Festival of Trees
The fourth grade students were filled with holiday spirit as they decorated their class tree at the Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven, Connecticut. The students created many handmade ornaments and decorations to turn the Christmas tree into a wonderful masterpiece. These trees will be on display through the Christmas season.
Another very successful Santa Breakfast! Thank you to everyone who volunteered and attended this great annual event!

St. Bernard Catholic School
St. Bernard School was happy to welcome back SBS alumna Miss Grout as a teacher’s aid in 2012. This past fall we were thrilled to be able to offer Miss Grout the position of 3rd Grade teacher. She joins her mother, Mrs. Grout, on the SBS faculty. Miss Grout earned her degree from Castleton State College in Castleton, Vermont. She attended SBS from Kindergarten through 8th grade and says “I came back to teach at SBS because I like the environment at the school. Academics are very important and everyone strives to have the students do well. Everyone is able to talk about their faith openly without being judged or made fun of because the commonality of faith is something most students and faculty share. Even though kids are challenged to do their best, there is still fun and the faculty really works well together to help make it a fun and structured environment for everyone. Everyone works together and will help anyone if they need it.” We are so glad to have you back Miss Grout!
